From Kilometers to Trees: How We Turned Movement into Impact

Our Active for Forests campaign has officially come to an end — and what a rewarding experience it was!

Throughout May, our entire Abatec team — from the office to the production floor — came together with one shared goal: to move more and help rebuild forests. Every walk, run, and bike ride counted, as we collected kilometers that would later be turned into something truly meaningful:
100 new trees planted in partnership with Posadzimy.pl.

The challenge sparked an incredible wave of motivation and connection across teams. The atmosphere was filled with friendly competition, lots of laughter, and a strong sense of purpose. Everyone gave it their all — and three colleagues stood out with their exceptional effort:

Their determination earned them a well-deserved place on the podium, along with some fantastic prizes — and of course, a little sweet surprise to celebrate everyone’s hard work.

But beyond the numbers and the winners, the true success of this initiative lies in what we achieved together. By simply moving our bodies and supporting one another, we’ve made a positive impact on the planet and taken one more step toward a greener, healthier future.
