LED pool lighting – why to choose it?
LED lighting and halogen lighting are two most popular kinds of pool lighting.
LED pool lighting is durable, easy to clean and, above all, highly economical. It produces as much light as a 100-watt halogen bulb, yet consumes only six watts of power. This is possible thanks to energy-saving solutions that transform energy into light. This process is free from heat energy, which is another reason why LED lighting may be more attractive – no burning risk in case the body touches the lamp.
LED technology is also a way more environmentally friendly because, as mentioned before, it consumes less energy and also because LED lights work much longer than halogen variants. They do not produce a green glow which makes water look polluted. Certainly it does not apply to RGB lights as you consciously choose different light colors.

Above-ground pool lighting – what lights to choose?
The phrase „above-ground pool lighting” may be understood as pieces out of the structure but also built-in lights which we have mentioned in the previous paragraph. There are two light colors to choose from – white and RGB.
White color (WHITE) is a classic choice with regard to pools in modern apartments. It perfectly corresponds to garden lights and a building facade, as well as reflects the real color of water in the pool.
RGB in turn is a term used for combination of red, green and blue colors, as a result of which you have a wide range of derivative colors. This solution is a perfect match for indoor pools, creating a unique atmosphere in the room.
If you decide to purchase an ABATEC pool, you should take into account lighting in advance. Upon request, we will be ready to make a hole adapted to lights from our offer. If your purchase is concerned with LED lighting only as you have already purchased the pool before, the hole must be made with the use of a wood saw.
Importantly, holes made by ABATEC will be suitable only for a specific type of light – LED AC12V with a power of 18W, taking into consideration a threat adapted to the board thickness.
